I am writing to thank you for the assistance and service I received from TIC in obtaining our ATOL license. I have been in the travel industry for over 20 years and held an ATOL license as an accountable person for many years. After splitting up from my previous company I have decided to set up Go Singles Holidays, a specialist operator for solo travellers. I had made a direct application to the CAA for an ATOL license and then another through one of the ATOL franchises and they had both been unsuccessful. Subsequently through a recommendation, I have contacted Charley from TIC, from the very first contact Charley was enthusiastic and confident about my application due to my experience. After receiving the ATOL offer from the CAA, we came across the final hurdle of bonding and due to the Covid-19 situation, insurers were reluctant to offer the bond for new businesses. However, due to Charley’s persistence and belief we have managed to secure a bond.
