About Us

Leisure Industry Advisors is an independent travel consultancy business that was founded by Charley Cohen in 2017.

Our mission is to help travel companies achieve their goals and we offer a wide range of specialist services to assist both start-up and established travel businesses with the complexities of the UK travel regulatory framework. This includes:

  • managing the application for, and ongoing maintenance of, all travel-related licences, memberships and accreditations including ATOL, ABTA and IATA.
  • providing tailored advice on the UK travel market and vast regulatory framework.
  • assistance with obtaining all forms of financial security including bonds, trust accounts, escrow accounts, charge accounts and travel-related insurances.
  • acting as an intermediary service between travel companies and regulators or trade bodies to assist with negotiations, disputes and/or other licensing issues.
  • support, and access to, a wide network of industry contacts to secure merchant facility services, back-office systems and more.


Director & Founder

Charley founded TIC in 2017 after spending six years working for an established travel consultancy firm, where he gained invaluable experience and knowledge of the UK travel industry and regulations.

Since establishing TIC, Charley has personally advised over 200 travel companies and dedicates a lot of his time to maintaining close working relationships with his clients.
